Alexander J. Crous is the founder of The Crous Firm, PLLC, a San Antonio-based practice dedicated to personal injury, medical malpractice, cryptocurrency fraud, and the legal dimensions of artificial intelligence. He brings to every matter the analytical rigor of a large-firm background and the close attention of a boutique practice.

Alex earned his Juris Doctor cum laude from Brooklyn Law School in 2021, where he served on the Journal of Law and Policy and was recognized on the Dean's List. He began his legal career as an associate at Ropes & Gray LLP in New York, where he focused on cryptocurrency regulatory and transactional matters, developing and leading the firm's Summer Associate Cryptocurrency Bootcamp and maintaining its crypto resource center. He is licensed in New York, Texas, and the Eastern District of Texas.

Today, Alex represents clients throughout Texas in personal injury and medical malpractice matters, and serves Of Counsel to Cyber Justice Law Group, where he handles hearings, drafting, and document review in large-scale cryptocurrency fraud cases. He also holds certifications as a Google AI Professional (Gemini) and has completed Anthropic's Claude Academy, credentials that equip him to counsel clients facing the legal challenges that artificial intelligence increasingly creates.

Beyond his legal practice, Alex serves on the Board of Directors of the Center for Refugee Services in San Antonio, providing legal support to refugees and asylum seekers navigating the U.S. immigration system.
